The shortstop from Lee\u2019s Summit, Missouri burst on the scene as former Mizzou Coach Ehren Earleywine\u2019s most prized recruit. Playing behind Hot 100 pitcher Mac Morgan, Fiedler caught the attention of many onlooking college coaches who watched 16U team. She swings lefty hitting .534 while blasting 16 home runs and was listed as the leading RBI producer for the DeMarini Aces. As impressive as her numbers are offensively she truly shines at shortstop.&nbsp;Her ability to read the ball off the bat and use her athleticism to get to the ball are unrivaled. Several high-level programs said she could step in and make an impact for them immediately. Fiedler\u2019s leadership qualities and willingness to learn challenge her game make her possibilities endless. \u201cShe is just an unbelievable athlete. She has got things you can\u2019t teach as far as size, speed, and strength,\u201d Aces coach Ryan Taylor said. \u201cA lot of times you get players with one of those tools, but she is gifted with all of them. I have coached All-Americans before, but she is the best athlete overall that I\u2019ve had.\u201d Her overall game helped the Aces to a 5th place finish at PGF 16U Premier, 5th at World Fastpitch Championship, and 2nd at the Tulsa Elite Invite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flosoftball.com\/articles\/6250163-meet-the-no-1-2021-hot-100-recruit-kinsey-fiedler\">https:\/\/www.flosoftball.com\/articles\/6250163-meet-the-no-1-2021-hot-100-recruit-kinsey-fiedler<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2\u2014Kinsey Fiedler, SS, Aces Fastpitch (Missouri)&nbsp;<\/strong><br> Kinsey is a fluid playmaker who makes it look easy on defense. She has all the tools including arm strength, speed, power and versatility. She hit .464 at the 18U level last year for the Aces and, against elite competition, hit 12 home runs with 34 extra-base hits overall and an OPS of 1.316. Kinsey will do whatever takes to win including playing multiple positions. She transitioned from shortstop to second base last year as Mackenzie Donihoo (Oklahoma), a PGF All-American, was at shortstop.
