T-7—Ashton Maloney, OF, Aces Fastpitch (Texas)
Ashton is a staple at the top of the Aces order and continues to get better each year. She has led the Aces in average the last two seasons including a .527 batting average this year. A key sparkplug in the 2019 Boulder IDT championship, she started this season where she left off and continues to diversify her game by adding power at the plate. This summer, Ashton smacked 25 extra base hits with 50 RBIs and a 1.259 OPS. She has a long, athletic build with a strong arm and high-level speed on the bases. The senior is an exceptional athlete and plays basketball and soccer for Liberty (Missouri) High and last season Ashton broke the single season high school home run record with 12.
